Hoisting Self-elevating Platform

Shandong Haiding Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. is a reliable China factory and manufacturer specializing in the high-quality production. HAIDING SHIPYARD Hoisting Self-elevating Platform is a large-tonnage hoisting equipment designed for 3-100m marine water depth, with spud leg design length of 20-120m and total platform load capacity of 3000 tons. It is core-equipped with an 800-ton class 360° slewing crane, focusing on four tasks: offshore platform component hoisting, wind turbine main engine installation, sunken ship salvage, and large equipment transfer. Aiming at the pain points of marine hoisting such as "large load demand, difficult precise positioning, and high operation risk in complex environments", it realizes stable hoisting operations from shallow sea to deep sea through hydraulic synchronous lifting system (±0.1° leveling), high-precision hoisting positioning (±0.5m), and deep-sea wind/wave resistance design (Grade 12 wind resistance). The single hoisting efficiency is 40% higher than traditional floating cranes, providing a "high-load, high-precision, high-safety" hoisting solution for marine engineering.

Core Advantages

Large-tonnage Hoisting Capacity, Adapted to Heavy-duty Operations

800-ton Class Crane Integration: HAIDING SHIPYARD Hoisting Self-elevating Platform equipped with a full-hydraulic 360° slewing crane (maximum rated lifting capacity 800 tons, maximum working radius 45m), main hook lifting height ≥80m, capable of hoisting heavy components such as 300-ton class offshore platform modules and 16MW wind turbine main engines. The crane adopts dual winch synchronous control, with hoisting speed 0.5-2m/min, meeting the hoisting needs of components with different weights;

High-strength Load-bearing Structure: The platform of the HAIDING SHIPYARD Hoisting Self-elevating Platform  is main load-bearing beams are made of Q550 high-strength steel (thickness ≥50mm), and the crane base is rigidly connected to the platform via prestressed bolts. The locally reinforced area has a uniform load ≥120kN/㎡, which can withstand the instantaneous impact force during hoisting operations, with a structural safety factor ≥1.8.

High-precision Control, Strong Hoisting Stability

Full Automatic Leveling & Positioning: HAIDING SHIPYARD Hoisting Self-elevating Platform equipped with a dual-axis inclination sensor (accuracy ±0.05°) and GPS+Beidou dual positioning system (positioning accuracy ≤1m), the platform automatically levels before hoisting (level error ≤0.1°), and real-time compensates for platform tilt caused by wind and waves during hoisting, ensuring the component hoisting positioning deviation ≤0.5m and avoiding component collision;

Load Dynamic Monitoring: The crane of the HAIDING SHIPYARD Hoisting Self-elevating Platform is equipped with a load sensor (accuracy ±1%) and torque limiter, which real-time monitors the hoisting weight and torque. It automatically alarms when approaching 90% of the rated value, and forcibly stops when exceeding the rated value, preventing structural damage caused by overloading.

Full Water Depth Adaptation, High Tolerance to Complex Environments

Flexible Spud Leg Customization: HAIDING SHIPYARD Hoisting Self-elevating Platform adopts 4 sectional truss spud legs (diameter 2.8-3.5m) with customizable length of 20-120m, adapting to 3-100m water depth: 20-40m short legs for shallow sea (3-20m), 40-80m medium legs for medium sea (20-50m), 80-120m long legs for deep sea (50-100m); spud cans adopt expandable design (contact area ≥80㎡ after expansion) to prevent sinking into seabed soft soil;

Harsh Environment Protection: The platform has Grade 12 wind resistance, ≤6m wave resistance height, and ≤2.5 knots current resistance speed. The crane is equipped with windproof anchoring devices and rainproof/dustproof covers (protection grade IP65), which can operate during the South China Sea monsoon period and Bohai Bay winter ice period, ensuring uninterrupted hoisting tasks.

Modular Deployment, Convenient Operation & Maintenance

Sectional Transportation & Assembly: The platform is split into 6-8 sections (main platform section, spud leg section, crane section) with maximum single section weight ≤120 tons, which can be transported to global sea areas by semi-submersible ships and ocean-going barges; on-site assembly is completed with flanges + high-strength bolts, and can be finished in 7-10 days with marine floating cranes, 50% shorter than the assembly cycle of traditional integral platforms;

Crane Modular Maintenance: The crane winch and luffing mechanism adopt modular design, which can be disassembled and replaced as a whole in case of failure, reducing maintenance time to 12 hours/time; the spud leg rack is made of NM500 wear-resistant steel (hardness ≥500HB) with a service life ≥25 years in deep-sea environment, without frequent replacement.

Core Application Scenarios

Offshore Platform Construction & Expansion

In offshore oil and gas fields such as the Bohai Bay and the South China Sea, hoist 300-500-ton platform deck modules and equipment compartments. The 800-ton crane can complete heavy module hoisting in a single operation with a positioning accuracy of ±0.5m to avoid splicing deviations. It can complete 4-5 module hoisting operations per day, increasing efficiency by 40% compared to traditional floating cranes.

For the structural reinforcement of aging offshore platforms, hoist 200-300-ton reinforcement components (such as support beams and anti-collision devices). The stable working surface of the platform minimizes the impact of wind and waves on hoisting operations, ensuring the safety of reinforcement construction.

Offshore Wind Power Installation

In 16MW offshore wind farms along the coasts of Jiangsu and Fujian, hoist 800-ton wind turbine generators and 300-ton tower barrels. The crane's lifting height is ≥80 meters, suitable for operations in 100-meter water depths. The automatic leveling system compensates for wind and wave tilts, ensuring that the coaxiality deviation between the generator and the tower barrel is ≤1mm.

For the maintenance of offshore wind turbine foundations, hoist 100-200-ton maintenance equipment (such as underwater cutting devices and grouting equipment). The stable mooring of the platform enables continuous 72-hour maintenance operations.

Sunken Ship Salvage & Waterway Obstacle Clearance

In seas such as the East China Sea and the Yellow Sea, salvage 300-800-ton sunken ships (such as cargo ships and engineering vessels). Multi-point synchronous hoisting by the crane prevents deformation of the sunken ship. The platform can withstand waves of ≤6 meters, enabling continuous operations in complex sea conditions.

HAIDING SHIPYARD Hoisting Self-elevating Platform can remove heavy obstacles (such as abandoned piles and large components) from waterways. With a hoisting capacity of 200-500 tons, the crane precisely positions and transfers the obstacles to transport vessels, ensuring safe navigation.

Large Marine Equipment Transfer

Hoist 500-800-ton deep-sea exploration equipment (such as modules of manned submersible mother ships and seabed observation network bases) from transport vessels to operation platforms. The positioning accuracy of ±0.5m prevents collision damage to the equipment.

In coastal ports, transfer 300-500-ton port machinery (such as quay cranes and gantry cranes). The platform can dock at simple piers, eliminating the need for specialized heavy-lifting terminals and reducing transfer costs.
